Welcome to our lab!
Our research is dedicated to the cognitive neuroscience of attention and time perception.
Here are some unknowns we hope to shed light on by combining good psychophysics and, mostly, noninvasive physiology (EEG/MEG):
How does the brain encode the passage of time? What determines the duration of our perceptions and how much time is integrated into our perceived present moment?
How is visual attention distributed over time? And given our ability to select relevant information for sustained full processing (and the curtailing of irrelevant information from our perceptual analysis), what are the mechanisms involved?
