Welcome to our lab!
Our research is dedicated to the Cognitive Neuroscience of Attention and Time Perception. Here are some unknowns we hope to shed light on by combining good psychophysics, and mostly noninvasive physiology (EEG/MEG): How does the brain encode the passage of time? What determines the duration of our perceptions, and how much time is integrated into our perceived present moment? How is visual attention distributed over time? And given our ability to select relevant information for sustained full processing (and the curtailing of irrelevant information from our perceptual analysis), what are the mechanisms involved? If you find these questions enticing, please visit our publications and media pages! We are grateful to our funders, including the European Research Council, The James S. McDonnell Foundation, Joy Ventures, DFG, the Israeli Science Foundation, and the National Institute for Psychobiology in Israel.
